The Manager -Captain Stephen Root Steve’s business is Portsmouth Harbor Towing.He has saved lives and property since its establishment in 1990.With a long, proven record of environmental preservation, he was there to clean up the mess in 1996 in Portland, ME after the oil spill of the Julie N.Steve continues his service in coordination with The Piscataqua River Cooperative oil spill response team and the DES pump out boat.
Steve also does volunteer work for the Piscataqua Maritime Commission (the people who brought you the tall ships) by towing the Gundalow for the joy and education of school children in the area.
